and the rationale for bringing in hunt previously when they had chubb?Because they had Chubb
right?Because they had Chubb
I think they need help. But you are also saying they knowingly went with multiple players who were worse than hunt and johnson. So in this instance, why did they not re-sign him?right?
a more telling factor than whatever went down in the offseason, is that once they lost Chubb, they immediately brought Hunt back. What happened this week, tells me much more about what they think of their RB room than that what they did 6 months ago
Money, pure and simple.I think they need help. But you are also saying they knowingly went with multiple players who were worse than hunt and johnson. So in this instance, why did they not re-sign him?
Granted I'm making assumptions here,
Oh same fer sure.we all are!
really looking forward to the Titans/Browns game this weekend for both fantasy and fandom
No way I am clicking on that link lol
Hard to know the facts around it.and the rationale for bringing in hunt previously when they had chubb?
I bid 96 of 100 (all that I had) in superflex and didn't get him
I bid 460 of 500 in my dynasty and was able to get him
This is with waivers hitting Thurs. morning after Hunt signing
Kind weird you didn't get him for 96.I bid 96 of 100 (all that I had) in superflex and didn't get him

The winning bid was 99 of 100Kind weird you didn't get him for 96.
Hunt hasn't practiced with a team all preseason. (Neither has Fornette.)a more telling factor than whatever went down in the offseason, is that once they lost Chubb, they immediately brought Hunt back
I would also be shocked, to both of those.Hunt hasn't practiced with a team all preseason. (Neither has Fornette.)
My guess is the signing has more to do with familiarity with the system. And he was available. Do the Browns have any draft capital after the Watson contract ejaculatation to trade for someone of value?
If Hunt gets more than 50 yards this weekend I'll be shocked.
If he gets touches and doesn't pull a hammy I'll be shocked.
That would be tough. In one of my leagues, someone got cocky and said Hunt will rush for 1000 yards and 10 TD.
Told him that would be something since Hunt has only rushed for over 1000k once. And that was with Andy Reid. And he never rushed for 10 TD.
And now he's 28.

It would be stupid to give up anymore valuable draft capital.Hunt hasn't practiced with a team all preseason. (Neither has Fornette.)

Just for comparison, over the course of Chubb's career he averaged about 17.5 carries per game, give or take. That would be tough.
Lets say he can get 4 ypc, he would need 250 carries over 15 games. That's over 16 rushes a game which seems unlikely.
