Shouldn't you be scouting the college ranks to see who your team is going to take in the top-5 of the draft?
I hope we get a top 5 pick if we aren't in the playoffs... Need a big wr.

Donks need a playoff QB with an arm.

IT was still the same team that moved. They still had the same roster so don't tell me that you shouldn't include that history. Same owner through the two teams.

Same roster? The only person that came over from the Browns was Matt Stover.

The Browns franchise stats are never mentioned with the Ravens read the second paragraph:
Baltimore Ravens - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The same team moved. Just because they had a different name doesn't mean they were a different team.

Nothing that the Browns did in Cleveland came to Baltimore. Everything still resides in Cleveland.

I understand what you are trying to do, but it's a fail.

The Browns got to keep all of their history, though. That was part of the relocation deal. The Ravens technically did not exist until 1996.

Nope. It's the nE history not reaching back its what happened. 0-2 and no SB championships for 40 years. Where am I wrong. Own it.

How did it feel being a laughing stock for 40 years?

1996 dumbo.thats the Ravens first year.

2 Championships since then.

U cannot be this dumb? Did u think the Ravens were around since the 60's?

lol!!

Why do you only want to compare when the Ravens didn't exist against 4 decades back?

For an accurate comparison you compare the two teams in the same span, and it's not even close.

And as for the 40 years, you clearly don't know their history very well to refer to them as a laughing stock for the entire time. You might want to look it up.

Since the Ravens came to be in 96' v the Pats since 96' (Correct comparison methodology.)

Pats

Regular Season
213W - 91L 68% winning.

10 AFCC appearances
7 SB appearances
4 SB wins

Ravens

168 W - 135L 55% with 1 tie.

4 AFCC apearances
2 SB appearances
1 SB win

Updated to ammend typo in Ravens W-L

They didn't win it from scratch, they brought over most of the Browns roster and front office staff. They were an expansion team in name only, they already had a solid foundation.

Sadly for Ravens fans, nothing is about yesterday, it's about today and tomorrow. Tomorrow for the Ravens does not look as good as yesterday.

Tgann, your arguments about the Patriots being 0-2 for 40 years holds no water because you looking at any team's history you cannot be selective. It must be all or nothing. The reason you so hate the Patriots has nothing to do with their first 40 years, it has everything to do with the last 15. Worse, it could be for the next 15.

From 1960-2000 the Patriots played and lost 2 Super Bowls. From 2000-2014 they played in 6 and won 4 Super Bowls. They been to 3 times as many as the Ravens and won twice as many. You can't change the math. You've been screeching that the Patriots will become a shit pile when in fact the Ravens have become a shit pile.

Now you're screeching at the Broncos because they're 6-0 and will undoubtedly be a playoff team in 2015 while the Ravens will be a lottery picker. Peyton Manning is nearly forty years old and is having what may the worst season of an illustrious, Hall of Fame career and yet you continue to try to compare Joe Flacco to him at 30.
Peyton Manning has never had as many game ending INTs that killed his team as End Zone Joe.

He's trying to play it both ways because the history and stats aren't in his favor. He wants to use the "from scratch" comparison against the 40 year history prior to the Pats first SB win. His entire arguement crumbles otherwise.

He's a coward.

I see what you did there...u took a franchise that had a 36 year head start (although it was 0-2 in Super Bowls) and attempted to compare that to a newly formed franchise; u had the Ravens winning only one SB its 2. The only team with multiple SB ins and ZERO losses.

Lets compare the first 20 years of both:
nE Gaytriots
136 wins 152 losses
ZERO Championships..although they did lose the 1963 AFL Championships in true nE form 51-10 to San Diego.

169 W - 141L 55% with 1 tie.
4 AFCC apearances
2 SB appearances
2 SB wins

not even close.

I dont want to use the Patriots entire history bc if I do I know they look like losers. I want to only count "since the Krafts purchased" the Patriots bc I feel like a winner. BC everyone knows Ne went 40 years with no championship and were 0-2 in SB appearances prior to 2001...this hurts please someone jump in and help me.

Ravens weren't a newly formed franchise, They switched names. So to make a proper comparison you use the saem date range. In which the raisens were inferior to the Patriots, just like they are this year.

Nice try though. :thumb:

Actually I only counted since 96, not 94 when the Krafts bought them. You chose the year.
