Yeah but that would be more for Year 2 in the Chip Kelly era. I dont see him getting fired 1 year into hiring his head coach.I think it depends how bad things are. If the team plays poorly and loses someone needs to take the fall, Baalke is next in line. If fans put alot of pressure on York again
Hard to say how Chip Kelly's philosophy works out ... I"m not a huge fan of the hurry up offense all the time because it can put a strain on your defense if your O doesn't dominate... But saying you guy's will be the worst team in the NFL, I don't think so .... I"m curious to see if Kaep can get back on track...
May never see Kap play again
We may not be the worst on paper, but regardless, because of the strength of schedule, it could put us down there. Chip Kelly is as evasive as Harbaugh was when it comes to addressing personnel questions from the media. I think Gabbert is probably the likely starter despite what Kelly says. May never see Kap play again except for preseason.
That's possible... I just can't grasp how Kaep fell off so quickly.. the guy played big in some big games and you just know some talent is there... Maybe he was partying with his new $, who knows...
Defenses figured him out once Seattle shut him down in the 2nd half of "The Tip".That's possible... I just can't grasp how Kaep fell off so quickly.. the guy played big in some big games and you just know some talent is there... Maybe he was partying with his new $, who knows...
No problem. We remember it differently.Kaepernick ran wild in the first half....but he was 3-5 for 17 yards passing in that timespan. Seattle was not the reason for Kaepernick's downfall. In fact, most of us saw the decline in play throughout the 2013 season.

My perspective is that Kaep's '12 and '13 years were his best. It was downhill for him from there. He was doing great until the second half of the NFCCG. That is when his wheels fell off and he really never played well after that. From the big picture, Kaep has not played well against Seattle. So obviously you guys have an opinion from a focused perspective. More so you guys remember the 4th quarter of that NFCCG. Just saying, not knocking you guys for what is 'human nature' to remember.
But Kaep's "slide" in his PASSING game, is more than that NFCCG.

You think I focus on the 4th qtr in that game? No, not at all. I was there in attendance, a 28 year Seahawk STH. SF (Kaep) was clearly kicking our ass from the beginning of that game. After his monster run, I vividly recall wondering, "how do we stop this guy?"
I was worried. Very worried.
Our team adjusted better at the half and took over the game.
Kaep officially sucked after that.
OOps, sorry we hijacked the thread.
No, SF wont be the worst.
Once teams learned Kap's few talents he was done for. Moving on from him,I hopeMy perspective is that Kaep's '12 and '13 years were his best. It was downhill for him from there. NFL QB's is mostly about your passing ability, you have to consistently prove your passing skills.
Intially, Kaep was ok passing the ball, but his big talent was running. Running was what vaulted him into the national news. But you can't remain a top NFL QB by running, so it isn't surprising teams 'figured him out'. All they had to do was make him consistently pass the ball.
