Since this is a post about relevancy why are you here? Does Dallas still have a team in the NFL:scratch:
yes they do and according to your parameters they are relevant. Since you are so smart, well at least according to you...I'll go with your rules

"Fair enough. Relevance to me is a team that continuously makes the playoffs": 31 out of 57 seasons in playoffs

"wins at least 50% of their playoff games": 34-26 playoff record

"and then wins the ultimate prize occasionally": 5 SB wins

For the record I totally disagree with your silly definition of relevant, but it is your dime...

The Cards look tough no doubt, but I think they should have done more to acquire a QB of the future. If Palmer gets hurt, which he often does, that team is going to crash land.

Sorry for those mentally challenged, I should've included relevancy = in your lifetime. Sorry didn't realize I needed to use crayons for some of our Dallas fans.
OBTW not to worry I'll sleep fine this evening knowing you don't agree with my definition.

Jimmy G going 4-0 has to be every Pats fan worst nightmare

I think that's :boink:. If I'm a Pat fan I'm hoping for 4-0. Heck if he outplays Brady and wins the job outright they may have a dynasty on their hands...

Id agree, if I thought for a second any Pats fans cared more about that team than they did about how everything reflects on Tom Brady

The Arizona fans are coming out of the woodwork.
Is it because they are now feeling confident with Brady out?
Is it because they made the playoffs last year and hope to not regress?
Is it because they got a NE cast-off in Chandler?
Is it because they get to face NE at home in the heat of "hell stadium?"

Pretty likely the Cards beat the Patriots in the 1st game but LOL funny that the fans think they win this game without even getting on the field. Belichick and the Pats are never easy - get ready, not mouthy!

Suggestions?

I guess they could have traded all their draft pics for a D2 QB that put up slightly above average numbers in college.

Since 2013 when Arians has been the AZ HC, the Cardinals are the 5th winningest team in the league.

Top 10 in same span.

Denver: 76.4%
New England: 74.6%
Seattle: 73.2%
Carolina: 69.8%
Arizona: 68.6%
Cincinnati: 66.0%
Kansas City: 62.7%
Indianapolis: 62.3%
Green Bay: 61.5%
Pittsburgh: 58.8%

So without looking thats New England, Seattle and Denver. Not a big list.

Troll thread is trolly. Three straight years of 10+ wins and they were in the NFC championship game last year. Sounds relevant to me.

I think we could at least use a team who's won a SB within the past two decades for starters.40% of the teams make the playoffs. Almost 1/2. Sorry I don't think just making the p/o's constitutes relevancy. There has to be some recent consistency in my opinion to be considered relevant.
I'd include GB, Pit, Balt to your list at a minimum.

Ok. Rodgers playoff record is sub .500 but thats understandable. Pitt hasn't won a playoff game in a few years but thats also understandable.

Baltimore lost its core...it would be like saying the Pats are relevant 3 years after Brady leaves and after a sub .500 season. Not sure I buy that but then again, its better than saying only 5 teams in the NFL are relevant. Makes it sound like the NBA.

Stay focused. You're all over the place trying to make your opinion count. The thread was about AZ being relevant. You can't tell me with the teams listed you would honestly say anyone of them aren't relevant?
Do you consider Cincy as being relevant?

I'm focusing on your criteria for a relevant team but since your opinion doesn't matter anymore...

I think Arizona can win a Super Bowl next year and I think Cinci is probably the worst team that can win a Super Bowl next year so personally I think both are relevant.
