One of the bigger stories emerging from the New England Patriots' ugly 13-10 victory over the New York Jets on Thursday night was the visible frustration of Tom Brady. At times, the Pats' QB yelled at teammates, threw his arms up in disgust at yet another dropped pass, and went on easy-to-read verbal tirades on the sidelines.

Y! SPORTS

I don't see anything wrong with this. Is he supposed to not call out his teammates when they drop balls? He's doing what leaders should do. What's wrong with a competitor showing some emotion and calling out guys when they don't perform? I like seeing some fire. If anything this gives me a little more respect for Brady. He demands better.

Calling teammates out on the field during a game > calling teammates out to the media at a press conference.

I agree, the Pats are not good. If the Bills had a defense and Geno Smith knew his team was wearing white, not blue, the Pats would be 0-2.

Well find out this week when the play a quality opponent (The Raiders)...anything less than a 50 point win, they aren't as good as hyped.

It's no fun stomping a team that badly...well...other than the ravens or pats maybe...and truthfully, I think the Raiders have a better defense than both of those.

Of course not. Losing a first-team All Pro LT is never good. At the same time, every team has to deal with injuries. Should be interesting to see how Denver is able to deal with such a seemingly key injury.

Doesn't hurt that Manning played for years in Indy with a terrible O-line

There's really only one injury that would kill the Broncos. But by losing Clady, that injury risk just went up. Broncos are still the favorite in the AFC, but they just dropped down a notch.

Agreed, it's 2 games in and both teams are unbeaten. The Patriots have definitely dropped a notch but having no TE will do that and they have played a couple of pretty good defenses. Bottom line is they found a way to win. The Broncos took advantage of a really bad Ravens secondary (at home in the thin air) and a Giants team that has been pathetic (in every aspect), to say the least. Of course, all of this is more of the same old Manning V. Brady boring crap. It's about winning games, get to the play-offs and HFA. Sometime around Thanksgiving, we should have a better idea of what's really what in this league.

Every year the team that starts out the strongest doesn't mantain that. Hard to bet against the broncos at this point, but I don't think this will last.

You know you had it easy when they say that the oakland raiders are going to be the best defense they faced so far!!!
The broncos are very good, but until they play a good defense playing well we have no clue how good there offense actually is... Its a good thing that they dont have the most difficult schedule...

Let's see how Peyton holds up throughout the season. He's not young and if I'm not mistaken his record generally nosedives in cold weather. No doubt they are loaded with weapons. If Peyton can keep it together I don't see a reason why they should not be the AFC favorites.
