The only living thing I've shot in my life was a bird with a BB gun when I was in 5th grade after taking hunters safety, and it still bothers me to this day.

Heard interesting comments regarding wound. At a " downward" trajectory, it pierced his thigh and continued down to ankle. Pretty hard to imagine someone shot at him unless he was well above him. The wound according to report was consistent with accidental self inflicted injury.He also told police he was at a park when shot. Those comments could also be misguided reports. Don't think all the facts are out yet.

I don't think all the reports are out either. One that I think could be emerging more over the next few days is that Talib is trying to protect his brother. That is brother was messing around next to Talib and the gun went off.

Yeah it's the entrance,exit trajectory that makes things very tough to explain. Be tough for his brother to accidentally pull that off too. IDK, Don't think the " cats out of the bag " yet. Hope whatever comes out there's no NFL suspension involved.

SS is right. Taliban is looking at missing some games. Couple things that will also influence his " punishment " . Did he have permit for gun, if he did, did he have a concealed weapon permit and even so what were the restrictions, what are Texas laws regarding his circumstances? Talibs bigger concerns are more than NFL suspension I imagine.

Not saying he is innocent but lets not throw him under the bus until the evidence comes out.

Yes, it doesn't look real good for him given the trajectory, but you also have to prove he had a gun.

It will really come down to if he had a permit to carry or not if the proof is there, Given the fact that he had been in trouble for shooting at someone before my best guess isn't he wasn't able to get a license, although that was thrown out in court so he didn't have a felony charge on that little episode.

Either way going to be hard to feel sorry for him whatever he gets as he has a had multiple chances and served a 4 game suspension for Tampa when he probably should have or could have easily served a year suspension with all the run ins he had.

Sucks for his teammates and the fans of Denver though.

Hell, I'm 8 or so years older than the man and I've been to a fucking war zone and I've never been shot. To have the life of an NFL player, you have to work at it to end up getting shot.

Like I said, the repercussions,which are forthcoming, will be dictated by what laws he broke first then the punishments will rear their head systematically. You would have to be extremely optimistic if this ended well regardless of any info coming out.
