jj will be traded this year or walks in fa ?

reason 1 i wouldn't give multi year deal and say you are my shortstop 3 years down the road .
reason 2 we have several guys that can play great D at short
reason 3 even when jj plays he seems he is toughing it out .

schoop looks more like a 3rd baseman but i do love him at 2nd also .

Just seems like a lot of factors play into it. How the team's doing, how he as a player is doing, how other players who could conceivably fill his role are doing (Are you thinking Schoop at 3b and Manny at ss?).. it's really impossible for me to say at this juncture.

3 years.... I dunno man, I just dunno. He'll be 32 this August. Love the hell out of the guy, but when I think 3 years the first thing I think is "the price has gotta be right".

i like jj but at some point i would need to move him to third if needed . jj wants it in his contract and for me it would have to be at a bargain price

I agree with this... I see zero reason to move him away from 3rd...
