I figured they did what they should have done all along. Nothing more, nothing less...

My only concern is whether the Illinois offense was better or worse than Wyomings. If better than we did see some defnsive improvement. If not those last six games we play could be brutal.

I'd say Illinois offense is better than Wyoming. They did try to use the same blueprint that everyone else has been having success against Nebraska with. Spread em' out and run right at em'.

Illlinois offense came into the game "multiiple" (passing strength) with pretty good rankings, yet ran the ball 48 times.

They got 4+ yds per carry, which appears to be something we're just gonna have to continue to live with. The bye week didn't fix it anyway.
