Papuchis was changed today. He wasn't running around with his eyeballs the size of silver dollars.

Carl would stand up to Bo, but he was his older brother.
Maybe instead of directly standing up to him, Paps is doing his own thing and will take whatever comes after the game.

Yep. A&W was one of few fast food places around back in the day. Now there are 4 fast food joints on every intersection.

When we'd go as family (6) a tight sweatered babe chewing bubble gum would come out on roller skates with a tray full of iced mug root beers in glass mugs that weigh about 4 pounds each. Never did see one drop them. They'd hang it on your car window and the happiness flowed.

I saw that. After I put that together with the way Bo was chewin' his ass all day, it got me trying to put it together.

I thought the offense played very well and saw a vast improvement on D. Im done with the conspiracy theories as far as Papuchis goes. He runs the defense and doesnt do a good job at times.

I must have been watching a different game than you were watching. I saw a defense that was far from perfect, but showing improvement. Tackling was better, technique was better and motors were on full most all the time. I saw a few plays where they were shifting at the snap (Play coming in late), some where they weren't even on the field at the snap (coaches taking to long to send them out) and slow subbing in and out (coaching issue.)

This defense today was immensely improved over the one that played Wyoming, UCLA and SDSU.

Argh, this defense gives me the shits!

But really though it's pretty bad, slightly better than the Wyo game. The only thing that was good was the Offense was able to keep them on the bench longer, that should be our game plan going forward, just try and keep our defense off the field altogether

If we down play the offense beaten up a bad defense
Can't get to excited about a defense that had several bad penalties
Got gash a lot and looked lost or beat in crossing routes and passes to the flat

If I had too choose a kool aid to sip it would be offense right now
I don't trust the defense bc I still saw a lot of same game 1 mistakes

Did they improve stat wise they did but not much of anything to be happy about

Do you think they handle NW or mich? If you think they do then they did improve
I'm still cautious about that D. Many still think Illini is bad team and honestly they made some stupid mistakes and bad play calling
