For getting "their QB" killed? Any remorse about how they played for "their QB"? Or, is RG3 really "their QB" that they would lay everything out on the line for? Pretty sure O Line players for guys like Brady, Brees, the Mannings etc. would be coming out for "their QB" saying we fucked up and that will never happen again.

A lot of those O lineman are very young & - like it or not - are going to make mistakes. This is only the second preseason game. I have no doubt that all of these guys will give 100% for either guy. Think about when you started a particular job. Did you give it your all only for certain people? I doubt it, and a lot of these guys are not in a position to only try at certain times.

I have no doubt that most mistakes are made due to mental mistakes or lack of experience (or in certain cases perhaps not being good enough - at least not yet). I don't think that most of this is due to lack of effort & that somehow magically they would play significantly better for a certain QB. O lines have to gel as a unit & that takes time. You also have to consider that Williams didn't play the other night & the loss of a quality player can have a huge impact on the unit.

My take is that unless a lot of bad things happen Willie Smith won't be seeing the field, Hell I can't see him even making the team. Considering the vast majority of the OL problems fall on him I'm optimistic that the OL will not be that bad ever again.

But yeah, if I was a Vikes fan and I saw those highlights I would be dissecting Griffin, I'd be seeing the obvious. It was horrible horrible protection.
