Anyone have an over/under for how long Big12 fans will swing off any success A&M or Missouri has in the SEC.

Ketchum on the Horn (local sports radio) was talking about his interview with a reporter from South Carolina yesterday. I thought this was really interesting. The guy said SoCar would not have a game plan on defense coming into the game. They would wait until they saw the offense and make adjustments, because they did not know what it would look like. If that is true, holy sh!t. That is a new level of incompetence.

Losing to Stoops for the 3rd straight time isn't enough?

It appears the answer to that question is no all around.

Personally, I don't give a shit about it, and it seems that Big12 fans don't either.

Although it looked like they were playing zone coverage all night I don't know about not having a game plan...

Getting run over isn't much of a game plan, boy.

Everyone associated with that team are all gone. How about the last cotton bowl meeting, though?

I do love this logic. Your history is irrelevant. Let me rebuttal that with history that I like, which is now apparently relevant

Recent history generally is more relevant to current events.

The SEC is in denial because of losses given to them by other SEC teams?

So Texas A&M lost to Alabama last year, I guess they were in denial then? And A&M still hasn't beaten LSU, also in denial? Was it denial when Alabama shut out Ole Miss last year?

Prime example of someone cherry picking data to reach a conclusion they want, rather than presenting an actual finding.

A&M won last night because they were a much better team who executed in ways South Carolina simply couldn't compete with. A&M could have ran at the pace of Alabama and still won handily. And the spread has been around the SEC for many years and has been dealt with plenty. Those things matter and have effect - especially in terms of putting players in situations where they can be successful. But talent and working as a team to your strengths and weaknesses is a MUCH bigger factor.

Did you read it? I am guessing no. It mentioned LSU quite favorably. Read it and then post. It works better that way

I read down to where it tried to claim the HUNH and spread was the reason Oklahoma won against Alabama rather than the 5 turnovers. That was after it tried to pretend Auburn suddenly improved last year from 3-9 to national championship contender after implementing it. And tried to pretend like A&M just suddenly found success in the SEC because coaches are stubborn defensively and such.

If it was full of shit that far, I had little reason to believe it would ever get any better. I figure 4 stupid statements in the first 2 paragraphs was a good indicator of how it would go.

Well, when it started as a joke all bets are off. Second, when one involves literally no one from the current team and the other involves more than a few...relevance does exist.

The only place relevance doesn't exist in your statement is the CFB team you support
