Sure the NBA title has eluded him but its not like he hasn't been a champion.

Davis= Two time all-star, Olympic Gold Medal Champion as well, National Championship freshman year at Kentucky, College POY, Defensive POY, set single season shot blocking record, etc. MVP of the championship game as well.

And he is 21.

I think when he gets help and the Western Conference regresses a little that he will make his presence felt in the postseason with multiple deep runs. At the end of his career I think he has more rings than KD will. Just my opinion though.

Did you not see his double-clutch game-winning three against the Thunder in OKC without Holiday? He literally took on the entire OKC team by himself (with a little help from Tyreke) and won.

Too bad for Davis that Westbrook was the better player that night.

LeBron and Durant each won 50 games in their 3rd season. (Although Durant, IMO, had much better talent around him than LeBron and AD).

AD is as promising a player as there is in the NBA.

But if I'm taking someone today... I'm taking the proven commodity.

Durant hasn't won a title but he's lead a team through the Western Conference playoffs to the Finals.... in the last 15 years only Duncan, Dirk, Kobe, Shaq and Durant have done that. Pretty good company.

That's why the pelicans are bottom 5 on defense and the thunder are in the top 10. The problem with the thunder is they don't run good offense at all.

Westbrook is leading the NBA in Steals and is scoring as much as Durant. You add Davis to that team over Durant and you got something. OKC has had their shot and they missed it.

I get some of you west coasters just want scoring.. But I'll take the scoring, rebounding, and great defender all day.

Davis is good on defense but not at the elite level yet where it impacts the whole team. Westbrook is scoring as much as durant yes but a lot less effcient. Durant is shooting over 50% lol. Also steals doesn't = good defense. But anyway durants team is better than davis team on defense.
