Can't blame the pass blocking, either....Whit graded +3.4 and Andre +2.9 while the team as a whole was +8.7 pass blocking.....you can go through the game and find play after play that Dalton fucked up.....

Completely agree, on all points.....I thought he had a chance to improve, even coming into this year......it's never going to happen, he just doesn't have it mentally or physically.....

He doesn't help his line at all....absolutely no pocket awareness, and is afraid to make anything but the simplest throws......I have tried to be patient and wait for him to improve, but I'm too old to put up with him for another 4-5 years.... we have talent, and I'm running out of time....

What I don't understand is are they not busting out the film and showing him, 'on this "scramble" you have a guy going this direction who may only have a foot on his guy, but you HAVE to at least attempt the pass. It may end up an incompletion, but you have to at least give your receiver a chance to make a play. And if it gets intercepted one time or another, whoopdee damn doo. That's why we have one of the best defenses in the league.'

He's getting 'worse' because other teams know and have identified his limitations more than our own coaching staff. You don't think other teams in the league know he's not going to beat us with any pro caliber passes. A simple zone D completely takes our receivers out of the game, because Dalton is afraid to try to put the ball in a tight window. He'll step around in the pocket and take a sack or sail it out of bounds before he steps up and makes a high risk, high reward pass down field

The line was fantastic, Bernard was good as always, the defense played well, especially missing 3 players and Burfict getting hurt. I'll agree Gresham hasn't been great. Aweful? That is a fucking understatement!! He is a pilates instructor in the making. Him and his wife can start their own pilates instruction business, and have that zen atmosphere, where their clients will enjoy some delicious wheat grass as they are sitting back getting a massage after a tough pilates workout.
