A blind test showing current opponents rank in parenthesis and margin of victory
Damn, team D has played the best three opponents...badasses. SOS>MOV
Team D average opponent rank 41.33
Team C average opponent rank 50
Team B average opponent rank 54 (does not include the NR)
Team A average opponent rank 57.75 (does not include the NR)
Team D has played a little better sos but its not as huge of a difference as most people would actually think.
Why would you not include the NR teams? They should at least count as 125th.

Its skewed though...Mississippi State shouldnt be considered a better win than Michigan. Mississippi State's wins are of mid-major caliber.
Team D's opponent's are on average ranked 8.77 spots higher than Team C's, 20.55 spots higher than Team B's, and 22.99 spots higher than Team A's. That seems like a big deal to me...
In this cbssport poll that I used
Mississippi ST = 27
Michigan = 21
Could be but the difference between Team D's 41.33 compared to Team C's 50 is not that big of a deal to me. In my opinion once you get into the 40's and 50's its like comparing Missouri to Arkansas ST.
Doesn't this hurt your argument? Because that is saying Alabama really only has 3 good wins while Notre Dame has 5?
I'm not trying to pimp Bama's schedule, I am a Bama fan and I'm realistic. Our schedule has been pathetic compared to what it usually is. I'm just not sold on ND schedule has being as tough as proclaimed. Wins over Army, Purdue, Michigan, Michigan ST, Miami, BYU and Pittsburg (three of them by only 3 points) does not impress me at all.
As I see it ND has played two good teams, Stanford (they actually lost if the refs were not blind) and Oklahoma. Alabama has played one good team, LSU.
