We ran the ball great with AS. Get back 2 running the damn ball JIM!!

In the first half Roman finally let Gore run outside the tackles and he picked up some good gains. But eventually the QB is going to have to get the ball to the receivers and if they ain't getting open were in trouble. No screens today AGAIN and they didn't use Hunter all that much.

49ers best WR was Jerry Rice!

The GOAT ran that pre-game post pattern in a suit to perfection!

Nobody from the 49ers WR group eclipsed Jerry Rice's effort today.

Il share something, one of my brothers did the Montana Hawaii basketball game with Joe Montana for autistic children,he is a big Niner fan.

That's cool. Every little bit helps. It's great that your brother did that.

Not surprised. Eric Davis does a great job on Niners broadcasts.

I dont listen to Niner broadcast's and was not aware he did them but what struck me about Mr Davis was how so honest and frank he was.

I respect those traits.

Seriously, it's kinda hilarious that people are playing the Alex Smith card already. They should be more patient and at least wait til the middle of the season.

When KC is 7-1 and we're 2-6?

It's a valid question at this point.

49ers are in a real bad football situation right now. The offense can't move the football and keep the defense off the field and the DC once again is refusing to rotate his players.

Going forward this does not bode well for a winning formula and our defense will be gassed and beat up by seasons end.

8 were targets to Boldin and 6 to KW. Gore had more targets than Patton. I am only looking at the box score as I wasn't able to watch the game but was it a failure of the WR's to get open and break coverage or inability to catch a pass?

Not being able to get open was the main problem. There were a few that could've been caught, but they were hard passes to catch, as CK had to fire the ball pretty hard and he had to throw it a little away from the receiver's body so that the defender would have no chance to intercept it.

Pretty much not getting separation and there were a few drops Williams and Celek.

Patton Moore and Baldwin may not be getting targets because they think they can't cut it, like Jenkins last season.

Sounds like the receivers aren't being physical at the line or aren't running precision routes that get them open. Curl routes or come back routes would help, not sure if they ran any of those?
