I think we’ve probably reached the point of someone getting fired. Although it is the mariners and they probably don’t care enough
I’m not even shocked by this.
10 games under. Any other teams that has a high expectation like this team coming into this season would have someone canned tomorrow morning.I think we’ve probably reached the point of someone getting fired. Although it is the mariners and they probably don’t care enough
Really something should have been a month ago. Either a firing or a big trade. Their response was hope Kyle Lewis can save them and sign Justin Upton10 games under. Any other teams that has a high expectation like this team coming into this season would have someone canned tomorrow morning.
Not this org.
Problem is Jerry is the one who needs to go or a minimum resign from being GM. Servais has been probably the best below average manager the past 7 years….but issue is catch 22 because you can’t have an interim GM making deadline deals because they are firmly sellers now. Also the other problem is there isn’t any guys on the teams that can net you go for it in 2023 type players.I think we’ve probably reached the point of someone getting fired. I have a feeling they rushed Lewis back and messed up his knee. I'm not buying the concussion crap and if it turns out to be his knee and not his head MLB needs to investigate this.Really something should have been a month ago. Either a firing or a big trade. If you mean this here's a link Time to call 'em like we see it from the Seattle Mariners broadcast booth^^^ I read Jim Moore's article this morning.
The most important part of this is that Ken Giles was reinstated, which is a good thing...Romo DFAed. Only surprise here is that he lasted about 10 days longer than I thought he would.
Elias DFAed also.
Another Mariner specialty: low-risk gambles that did not pay dividends.
That article is hilarious...If you mean this here's a link Time to call 'em like we see it from the Seattle Mariners broadcast booth
That was awesome! Finally the press is calling them professional turd polishers too. The Mariners are not going to like that article.
"Blowers: Look at everyone leaving the ballpark, Dave. I’ve got their exit velo at 75 fans per second. Can’t really blame them though, can you?
Sims: Not at all, Blow, this team is trash."

Well they can’t be buyers and can’t stay status quo so defacto they have to be sellers. Which sellers means is essentially Marco. The 3 main guys who would be the great guys to deal are Haniger, Murphy and Lewis but it is impossible to get anything for them.Someone here said we needed to be sellers at the deadline. I disagree with that as a blanket statement.
There is a massive talent shortage on this squad. They didn't do enough last trade season and they clearly didn't do enough this last off season. Not to mention the things they did do are not working out to this point.
They need to get more bats and everything has to be on the table to get it.
I just don't trust dip to do a good job of it as it is.
agreed its unlikly.............which makes me think..they will buy...and they have trade stuff....just not a lot..from a certain..point of view..Well they can’t be buyers and can’t stay status quo so defacto they have to be sellers.
