On a brighter note, or, more like a minor consolation trophy, how many of you guys who wished for either Bryant or Story to be signed, still wish for it? Bryant's brittleness continues to plague him. He's only been in 17 games this year and has now missed 330 out of a possible 560 games since 2018.

Story has done okay with 9 HR and 44 RBI but 5HR/13RBI of that production came in 7 games against the Mariners. He is also the beneficiary of being in that potent Red Sox lineup. He would have far less protection in our lineup where he and his lowly .700 OPS would be exposed.

While you can say we dodged a bullet with those two examples, the reality is they didn’t spend and they aren’t winning so you can’t in good conscience say this offseason wasn’t a failure. What about Freddie Freeman, Carlos Correa, Carlos Rodon or even fuck Tyler Anderson. You can point at bullets they dodged but there’s just as many options they could have had but chose not too.

Why is the Seattle media so weak? It’s the same ol’ questions to Servais during the post game conferences. Why aren’t they calling him out? Why aren’t they being tough? This shit doesn’t fly in a competitive market.

The fact that we aren’t even sure if Servais is on the hot seat is a testament to this colossal failure of an organization the past 20 years.

Firing Servais doesn’t even matter at this point . I’m far from a Servais Stan but this mess isn’t his issue. Hell Servais has helped guide at least two rosters to 89 and 90 wins when the talent level wasn’t even close to 89/90 win teams. I’m not saying he’s amazing but I think given what he’s had to work with what can he do?


This is Jerry’s mess and given he’s in a front office role now I think he’s got even more job security which is a scary thought

Guy accounts for 2 whole runs a game, but because our lineup is the Mariners lineup, we can’t match it. So one guy on an entire 26 man roster is all they need to beat us. Ugh.
