Well LALakersboy. Despite what he wants his knees are going to comply. He is toast. The man can barely walk without problems.

It'll happen. Here's how. Bynum goes to store. Bynum buys NBA 2k14. Bynum puts himself on the Lakers roster

Only way he makes it to the store is if Paul Pierce loans him his wheelchair.

Btw, maybe we were a little harsh with him a few years ago. Apparently, parking in that handicapped space was legit.

It's a shame he had those 2 freak injuries because he had a lot of potential and was showing it at both times prior to those 2 injuries.

It's been all downhill since that 2nd injury when Kobe fell into his knee.

Apparently Andrew was blessed with a degenerative condition in the articulation surfaces of the tibial table and the femur condyles or knuckles. A lot of grinding going on. Ouch!

bone on bone ain't no joke. if that truly IS the case then we're talking microfracture surgery to try and repair it. and even THAT can be a long shot...

he really is toast if this is true...

Precisely CL67 and it is true. There are a number of journal articles out there that discuss his case and illuminate microfracture surgery. The procedure is a money sink and there is alot of surgery in most cases and the results don't guarantee successful return to pre-surgery athletic function. Nope, this dude is going to be a candidate for knee replacement surgery like yesterday.

Neither Odom or Bynam have been the same since cheapshotting Dallas players in that Conference playoff sweep a few years ago! I try to watch the tape, but my mouth still goes agape every time; even though I know it's coming! What made them think they could do something like that and go about their business? :noidea: :bullshit: :L

If the Lakers want a big man project/back-up 7+ footer who can now play and he's available, sign Greg Oden.

I would love to see the kid come back and play, but the last I heard he was going to sit out the season and get the knee surgery in Europe by Kobe's doctors that worked on Kobe's knees. Just about any team would be interested in him if his wobbly knees could hold up which I seriously doubt.

I think a part of Bynum misses the competition and the championships and all of the attention that is contained therein. Even he does go through the microfracture surgery, he may just be able to walk again without difficulty but like you stated, I doubt anybody including the Lakers will risk that kind of fragile knee instability. The Lakers interests would be better served if they signed a guy like Greg Oden who is available, can play this season, and could be developed into a pretty good off-the-bench role player.

Wasn't this dude just on a plane to Germany to have an "experimental" treatment for his knees?

Who brought this back up? Even I have a better shot of getting on the Lakers roster than Bynum does.

Keep him away from here.
