Andre Caldwell appreciation thread

Lions 1 year deal.

Not our favorite Bronco, but he played a role and seemed to catch a few clutch TD's a year. Had a big catch in a game earlier in the year (forget the game) but it was a long 36 yarder.

Nothing special but he and Manning seemed to be on the same page.

Best of luck to Andre in Detroit as his career is starting to wind down.

A former Florida Gator I might add! One less Gator off the team is sad.

He was okay late this year. But for the past couple seasons, any time I'd see them throw to Bubba Caldwell, he'd drop it. Every. Single. Time. Was starting to think he was the Kyle Orton of wide receivers.

Anyway, good luck, Andre. If you play the Broncos, keep dropping the ball.

I am hoping we keep 6 Wr's again like last year, gonna come down to special teams something all of our WR's besides DT contributed to last year.

The 3 mentioned above Addison as we know did well on special teams for the most part. Norwood as a PR, the other too covering punts. Sanders did spot duty as a PR when we needed him to. Hopefully we don't need to use him as a PR this year.

Addison and Norwood will be in competition for the PR duties.

He's still around.
Jordan Taylor. Might be tough for him. He isn't a ST's guy, very raw. Probably needs another year on the PS.

Adios Andre. A role player - made a few big plays - was good on special teams. He gets the handshake - I'll skip the autograph request.

He did his job for the most part. I always dreaded when he was back on KO return duty though because it just seemed like he always thought he had to take it out and next thing we know we are starting the drive at the 10 yard line because he just wasn't great in the open field. Still he did make some great catches for us and really seemed to be one of the first to understand a Peyton Manning lead offense.

Perhaps one of the most significant plays he had as a Bronco was a TD catch from Oz to tie the game with the Patriots at 24. I think that was the afore mentioned 36 yarder. I wish him well.
