Mebert
Not Mebert's Alt
I would love to get Meinerz in the 3rd.
What are your thoughts on him?
That settles it, I like this guy.
It's not a bad pick by any means. not disappointed either. thought they'd go elsewhere
He is explosive off the snap but can be a tick late at times. 3 shortened games I watched form 2019 and I saw him consistently not keeping his head up AND eye on the ball. He would take wrong pursuit angles at times. Good hand placement but he'll get bogged down by down blocks at times. You cannot teach his explosiveness when he's committed.
I thought there were other players with a higher level of talent still on the board - Moehrig, JOK but this class of iDL is weak.
We need interior pressure to help the LB corps also
I was with you on Jay Tufele, by the way. Intriguing talent and still raw. Would have been happy with him at 101. Probably unlikely now.
Starting to sense a theme
Maybe Meinerz continues his fall and the Lions quadruple up on the trenches!
Very happy with the McNeill pick. I actually mocked him to us at 72 in a pff simulator draft.
I'm thrilled that the DL is getting some attention. Desperately overdue, particularly on the interior.
