mariners have the #21 pick in the 2022 draft...this is my top pick....right now.....
15. Carter Young, SS, Vanderbilt
Known as a glove-first guy when he got to Vanderbilt, Young is still a quality defender with smooth actions, a solid arm and average speed. He went from zero homers in 18 games and slugging .377 in 2020 to 16 homers and a .559 SLG last spring, though the switch-hitter got too uphill with his swing and batted .252 with 84 strikeouts (the most in NCAA Division I).

mariners still need ...ss/2b guys...young from the tri citys...is a top prospect...

if he gets picked before the mariners get a chance....my next guy..would be....

18. Dylan Beavers, OF, California
A part-time player during the shortened 2020 season, Beavers took a big step forward this spring by batting .303/.401/.630 with 18 homers and 10 steals. He's an athletic 6-foot-4, 206-pounder with plus lefty raw power and speed, solid arm strength and a future in either center or right field

interesting guys the mariners prob wont have a chance at...

1. Brooks Lee, SS, Cal Poly
Lee drew first-round interest out of high school in 2019, then missed almost all of last season following knee and hamstring surgery before returning in 2021 to win Big West co-Player of the Year honors after batting .342/.384/.626 with 10 homers. He also starred for the U.S. collegiate national team and in the Cape Cod League, displaying exceptional bat-to-ball skills and at least average power from both sides of the plate. The son of Cal Poly coach Larry Lee, he has fine instincts and a strong arm, though his fringy-to-average speed could dictate a move to second or third base in pro ball.

4. Brock Jones, OF, Stanford
A premium athlete, Jones played safety on Stanford's football team in 2019 before opting to focus on baseball. He's a 6-foot, 203-pounder with well-above-average left-handed power and plus speed that translated into a .311/.453/.646 line with 18 homers and 14 steals this spring. A below-average arm is the only knock on his game, but it is playable in center field, where he has a good chance to stick.

7. Daniel Susac, C, Arizona
The top catching prospect in the college class, Susac has the potential to contribute on both sides of the ball. A switch-hitter with plus raw power, he batted .335/.392/.591 with 12 homers as a true freshman in 2021. The younger brother of Andrew Susac, he has plus arm strength but needs to polish his receiving and blocking.

if they stay in there current position.....if they fall..maybe........
but these are guys that where 0n my list ..for the 2021 draft....and still are........for the 2022 draft...lol...i ussually dont give up on guys .....

2022 Top 50 Impact JUCO Transfers: 21-30

ANALYSIS David Seifert - October 6, 2021../...............again thanks to D1BASEBALL
and i will -post the wash-state..trans

In addition to the one-time transfer rule and the wild west transfer portal this summer, the always lush JUCO crop of talent has made its way to campus this fall. It is loaded with big arms and tooled-up position players. It’s also packed with just good ole’ ballplayers and pitchers who can carve. The overall talented level is very, very good from top to bottom and will impact D1 programs throughout the country.

In particular, Dallas Baptist, LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss and Washington State made a huge dive to harvest some golden nuggets out of the JUCO ranks. LSU was the leader with four of the Top 50, while all the others mentioned above placed three.

As far as the main producers of this high-level talent, Wabash Valley (Ill.) leads the way with five of the Top 50. McLennan (Tex.) is next with four, while Iowa Western and Walters State (Tenn.) are third with three apiece.

21. Cole McMillan, LHP, San Jacinto (Tex.) / Washington State– Beginning his collegiate career at Houston, the long, lanky 6-foot-3 lefty transferred to San Jacinto where he earned 1st team All-Region honors this past spring. As the Gators’ closer McMillan struck out 53 in 36.1 IP, while earning 9 saves. His heavy fastball has reached 93-94 as a reliever, but is more 90-92 in his current starting role with Wazzu. His low-80s curveball shows top-to-bottom action and he can also slide his breaker at 85-87. McMillan is expected to win a spot in the Cougars weekend rotation.

25. McKabe Cottrell, LHP, Spokane Falls (Wash.) / Washington State– The 2021 ABCA National Pitcher of the Year- PAC Division, Cottrell posted a 7-0 record with a 1.95 ERA for Spokane Falls. With advanced pitchability, the lefty allowed 32 hits in 55.1 IP with 81 strikeouts. He commands a four pitch mix consisting of an 88-90 fastball, curveball, slider and changeup, and he’s a virtual lock to become a weekend starter for the Cougars this spring

48. Jared Engman, RHP, Tacoma (Wash.) / Washington– A high end arm at 6-foot, 200 pounds, Engman is a converted SS who can reach 97 with his heater. He has looked strong this fall and should help anchor the Huskies’ bullpen this spring.

well UW...lol..as well

29. McKay Barney, CF, South Mountain (Ariz.) / Washington– Expected to leadoff this spring for the Huskies, the lefty slasher began his collegiate career at BYU before transferring to South Mountain where he slashed .325/.438/.457 with 18 stolen bases last spring. Barney is an elite outfielder who can run a sixty in the 6.6s. He stole 30 bases and hit .319 with a .426 OBP in 226 at-bats in the Northwoods League last summer.

30. Hylan Hall, CF, Wabash Valley (Ill.) / Washington State– Beginning his collegiate career at Miami (Fla.), Hall is an super athletic, tooled-up, physical specimen. Standing 6-foot-2, 200 pounds he has all five tools. He’s a power runner with good acceleration and runs the sixty in the low 6.6s. He will also show an above average arm with solid carry from the outfield. He moves easy to the ball while showing sure hands and confidence in his defensive actions. However, his tools haven’t fully developed in the batter’s box. His swing can get out of sync with his upper body getting ahead of his lower half, causing him to pull off the ball. Last season at Wabash Valley he batted .348 with 35 strikeouts vs 20 walks in 155 at-bats. This summer in the MLB Draft League, Hall put together a five hit game (video below). Based on tools alone, Hall is easily a top five round prospect, but will need to consistently produce at the plate this spring.
