I can see why he won it, but those Shaq years he was overlooked because of the perceived "dominant team"...he nor Kobe nor Phill were recognized yet it has been the most dominant franchise in the 2000's... So yeah, Lebron is the best player in the game and perhaps deserved it, not arguing that, but his team is stacked where I think Chris Paul, Durant, Melo and Duncan have done a lot more with a lot less... But if for this year we are going off stats alone Lebron should win hands down...
i already said why...he is a great player but the heat is a loaded team....they would have won 60 without lebron with that roster....take away durant and the thunder are not nearly as goodWhy shouldn't he get the award, I know it has a lot to do with success, but give a reason stats wise.
Why change the criteria now, when it's been the same for many many years?
You seriously think Griffin had an MVP calibre type season?

was thinking paul for clippers....guess griffin just got stuck in my head
Shaq's should have been unanimous but one person voted for AI I think, and got a lot of death threats and stuff, and this was without twitter and all that. I think Lebron gets the unanimous MVP this year because he is obviously going to win it and no one wants the threats coming their way.
So Kobes lone MVP is an asterisk award? Sounds like sour grapes to me.
I have no idea what you are talking about???![]()

OK. Now I get you. That would have been some bad PR for the league. That wasn't anyones fault but Kobes. He lost that MVP on his own. Nobody made him cheat on his wife.Eagle, Colorado. you know, the thing ALL us Lakers fans get a hard time for. Kobe had a REAL good chance at winning the MVP that season if he wasn't accused of r*pe in Colorado. just sayin'...
