Shark....it's not always a good thing to start threads saying how I think and feel on a topic. You do that more than any poster I've seen and it's not a correct observation by you. Not this post OR the one before this one.

The team 4 years ago was bottom 5 talent...maybe bottom 3. Sure skins are better today
Are they younger? yes
more talented? yes....Bob & Morris alone say's as much

I must stop you at this Shanahan greatness stuff. He wasn't great in year one when he and mcnabb were about the only two that thought Donnie had any game. The coach bout threw in the towel last season and basically rode the RG3 wave. The coach just mighta rode that wave a bit to hard. That remains a question no matter if he starts game one or not. I think the coach knew he got lucky with the total impact of all that was RG3 and the injury free oline. I also think NFL defenses will adjust this season, and to assume Morris & RG3 will match last season is a losing ticket for sure. The receiver's are NFL average at best....worst in the division and your Oline will not stay injury free. I can't wait for the SMU guard to play. It's a mess with two guys down.

Sorry....As I said many times. watched RG3 play at Copperas Cove High School when I first became a fan. Outstanding person. I just think the over all talent is closer to 6/7 wins than it is 10/11

Shanny and Skids is expected. As much as fans of theirs want to say that Jerry and Danny are nothing alike, they are exactly alike. They like to be buddies with their big players, and that undermines coaches. No coach worth their salt will stand there and let the owner control the locker room.

RG3 is different. Let him get healthy and through the sophomore slump. He might be better next year, good chance of it. Besides, not much they can do about him. Trade value is low right now, so they have to ride with RG3.

Ford, I have always maintained that the two are more similar than not. I know few skins fans that see them as particularly different, when it comes down to the dysfunction of being a meddlesome owner.

go back about 5 to 10 pages on the skins board and read the RG3 thread. Then look at the QB's of the NFC East that won't win a SB thread. Funny what 14 weeks of football will do to an opinion. as the wind blows with shark for sure.

Whelp, now I'm only left to hope the pokes and egals, both end their seasons quickly and miserably, as the only tiny bit of solace in this horror show of a season for me.

And even that, just won't bring me much happiness, should it occur.

I certainly don't wish the dysfunction I'm seeing in DC on any team ( well, maybe the Giants )

I wish even worse for Mara and the Giants. I dislike the Skins, but I HATE the Giants now because of Mara. My wish is for them to go 6-10 every season until that family no longer owns the team. bad enough to be made fun of, not good enough to draft high.

Totally agree. Mara takes the cake as public enemy #1. Shame what he did to destroy the good will I always felt towards Wellington.

Well, inner division hate has never been a shortcoming in this division, that's for sure. I don't mind that at all, means we care about being competitive.
