Oh snap! He's back to his old indy character. Posted this literally the minute his WWE contract ran out at 5/1 midnight

Ryan Satin's pointed out that the tweet's been liked by Cody and the dice from the Viper Room logo show a 2 and 5 (Double or Nothing is the 25th).

I still say it's a work. That is a very impressive teaser video for a supposedly non-WWE wrestler. I say Dean Ambrose did in fact 'leave' WWE and Moxley 'signed' with them.

I'll absolutely tip my cap to them if that's the case as I like to be worked as a fan but barbedwire and blood in a WWE video in 2019 is very out of character as a company.

I agree it does look professionally done but AEW has lots of money to spend.

WWE is spending money on puppets and colorful Blue's Clues displays, they are not putting time, money and effort into barbed wire, blood and running from the cops productions.

The debut was great and intriguing, week 2 made me think they are getting dangerously close to overdoing it and messing it up.

Oh shit!

Mox's AEW contract isn't fully exclusive. He can work NJPW as well.

The fact that Jericho and Moxley are working with NJPW bodes well for a future NJPW/AEW partnership once the ROH deal expires.

How time is left on it?

This is worth listening to. Jon Moxley went on Jericho's podcast and went into detail about all the factors that led to his decision to leave WWE. Couple of quick notes but again, its definitely worth listening to the whole thing;

-Was extremely frustrated with the creative decisions WWE made, especially Vince. Said he felt the things they would have him do would make no sense for the character he was suppose to be playing. He would often go to Vince after getting the script and tell him this makes no sense, would fight to get changes, but would rarely get them because Vince was adamant things had to be done the exact way Vince wanted. He'd still go out and do it but he made his frustrations known. Yet Vince still was surprised to learn his frustrations were the reason he left.

-Ambrose railing on Roman's cancer was all Vince's idea. Jon was extremely uncomfortable doing this and mentioned that Vince even had lines in the promo that were far worse than what we saw on TV but Jon absolutely refused to even say them on TV.

-He actually made his decision to leave WWE in July 2018, back before AEW was even a thing. That's how frustrated he was with how things operate there. He said WWE offered him a new contract but he didn't even bother to look at the details. He knew he was leaving no matter what.

-The video package he tweeted out at the 1st of May wasn't done by AEW like some have speculated. Jon paid for it out of pocket (8000 dollars) to an independent film maker

I listened this morning and 99 percent of it was just a podcast about his creative differences with Vince. Vince ran the company so he had final say on the script. Moxley was frustrated and decided to explore other options. I'm sure this will be twisted into something more but than it is but I can't say it made WWE look particularly bad in imo.

Haven't watched the match yet, plan on it when I get home, but I've seen pics from it and I have to say...its really weird seeing Moxley in trunks.
