No question since TNT had a right to match.I would think so yes
In the article the nba claims the offers aren’t identical due to a few things. No question since TNT had a right to match.
Amazon may still get it but most likely the NBA will have to give TNT a settlement.of some sort.
Well, then the lawyers will hash it out.In the article the nba claims the offers aren’t identical due to a few things.
Yeah they can’t provide the streaming to the same level. In the article the nba claims the offers aren’t identical due to a few things.
Which is why if WBD takes them to court they’ll likely lose as they only had the right to match an identical deal and because of streaming and NBC having a piece of the pie now, the deal was no longer the same.Yeah they can’t provide the streaming to the same level.
Barkley doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Amazon has some 200 million subscriptions. The fan is going to have access to more games being televised in the end.Barkley dropped what seems to be some truths about the reasons for this. It’s all about the future.
TNT host Charles Barkley dunks on NBA's new broadcast deal: "It just sucks."
"Inside the NBA" host Charles Barkley is decrying the NBA's new broadcast pact, saying Warner Bros. Discovery's TNT "never had a chance."www.cbsnews.com
Barkley straight up said it’s all about the NBA dealing with someone that may be agreeable to doubling again down the road. That is what I got out of the article.Barkley doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Amazon has some 200 million subscriptions. The fan is going to have access to more games being televised in the end.
I think you’re misreading bitterness and taking it at face value. The future of home entertainment is streaming services. Max, the streaming service that carries TNT has 75 million subscribers. Amazon has over 200 million. The fan isn’t getting punished here at all. More fans are getting access to more games. This is especially true internationally as Amazon blows away Max outside of the United States.Barkley straight up said it’s all about the NBA dealing with someone that may be agreeable to doubling again down the road. That is what I got out of the article.
