Alshon Jeffery's Pro Day

Well any hope of getting Alshon Jeffery in the 2nd were dashed today as he blew the doors off at his Pro Day and may have worked himself back into the 1st Round. Jeffery showed up at a svelte 213, 20 lbs less than his playing weight last season, had a 36.5 vertical jump, 10ft 2in broad jump ran a 4.38 Forty. It appears he has rehabilitated his draft stock.

Yeah he is def a 1st rounder now. I could actually see us picking him at 21 now.

Aside from that idiot linebacker for Alabama, do you ever see a case where a kid has a 'bad' pro day? There are far too many factors in the prospects favor on a team pro day. I wish they would work at the combine so we could make real comparisons.

Good for Alshon though..... I always figured someone might fall in love with his size even without top-end speed, but now it looks like he might have the speed to impress as well. Does anyone think he's really going to play at that weight though?
