OMG 49ers are expected to have 71.2 mill in cap. That was just reported. that is a lot of money. If they cut Kap they will have over 80 mill. LOL Crazy.

Wait...strike that what was I thinking...sign FU$KING UNCLE RICO ASAP...once that happens we can get Jesus for 2 to 10 years on the cheap. Who doesn't love them some Rico...he can throw the pig skin a quarter mile I hear. How could I be so STUPID!!

Don't really blame him. He needs a fresh start and Niners also need to move on from him.

I think some of it had to do with what happened after benching. The Marathe leak probably had something to do with it.

me neither.

agree we should move on anyway, he doesn't have passing skills and no amount of running, will make up for it.

If he want's out then it's better to move on because you don't want to force the QB to stay it just wouldn't work like other positions. With the contract extension signed Kaep won't be going into FA unless cut so they can't leverage the fact that if he doesn't tow the line he won't cash in on the FA market.

Who knows at this point what is true. I no longer care that much. Just draft a QB and prepare for the future. That's where I am at anyway

I agree they need to draft one but not trade up in the first round to do it

can't see us trading up, not even close. Do see us drafting a QB whether Kaep remains or not, but not in rounds 1 or 2.

I agree Deep. Focus on a pass rusher and upgrade OL. Maybe draft a QB in the 3rd or 4th round. I really think the offense will be better with Chip Kelly.

This is like a soap opera. I agree Patterson, just draft a QB and don't look back. I don't think the Niners will make the playoffs next year, but an 8-8 record would be a good start next year.

I think Kelly is bright guy and can improve the offense. The concern I have is with the defense.

Kelly can only do so much....it will pretty much come down to talent. Personally, I do not want to see him try and revive Kaepernick, because he'd be on borrowed time. It's all moot because I have no clue as to what he believes as far as the QB's in the draft.

Like others....I just want to move on. Take a shot on a QB and go.

Yep, i agree. We don't have to force a QB, but if value arises somewhere.....
