I'd take a sack of potatoes over Pears at this point. I really like what I saw from Tiller and think that Kilgore is more than serviceable...plus his name is badass.

I think Kilgore, if healthy, can be better than serviceable. He looked pretty good two years ago starting Center for the first time.

Well with these CFL signings...we better sweep the Winnipeg Blue Bombers under the rug or Jed might go back to twitter with a vengeance.

I'm not sure you can count on it and I would still draft or bring in a guy that could at least compete for the job.

I think regardless of whether he is healthy or not, the 49ers could use some quality depth on the oline. They will hopefully be dumping Pears and Devey and could draft people to replace them on the roster. Staley is getting up there in age so it wouldn't be a bad idea to starting looking for a replacement there too.

yes, and is why an LT like Stanley would work too. If Stanley is the top value at #7, go ahead and draft him. Don't let Staley 'block' this move, cause things change fast in the NFL.

Is he a top tackle prospect?

OMG 49ers are expected to have 71.2 mill in cap. That was just reported. that is a lot of money. If they cut Kap they will have over 80 mill. LOL Crazy.

Let''s hope and pray that Baalke shows more diligence with free agent signings. Last year was a disaster as the Niners received little production with their signings.

Dockett was for sure. Somehow I don't think they will go spend crazy on free agency.

They don't have to go spend crazy but they'll need to add better talent to the O-Line through both FA and the draft not just starters but depth because they had none this year.

I think they will go big on Defensive Player(Irvin I hope) and 1 offensive Player(Oline Guard). They they might sign 1-2 mid level players with upside. Save some money for their own players like (Lynch, Hyde).

I don't think they go crazy. I think they spend half.

I would like 2 O-Lineman, one starter and one that if nothing else can compete for a starting job and add good depth to the O-Line because they'll likely have injuries.

I think we have that with Tiller, Brown at the G and T position plus we still have Thomas and Devay.
