Wasn't a big fan of tonight's show. For me, it went way downhill when Jade Cargill came out. Cody, who is one of the top faces of the company, shouldn't be going close to 10 minutes with a guy that is a regular on Dark. Don't see the point in her right now since Brandi isn't going to be back until sometime in the Fall. Also, when they said Cody is going to address the Shaq situation, are they referring to that segment with him and Brandi a month and a half to two months ago or did Shaq say something on one of the NBA on TNT shows recently that I'm unaware of?
I saw another potential New Japan reference tonight with Archer wearing what looked like his old Suzuki-gun track suit during the Kingston backstage segment.

Not surprised that it's Starks instead of Hobbs since I feel like he'll be the likely guy to take the pin for Team Taz if they lose. Although, I feel like Hobbs will be involved since a street fight is pretty much anything goes, so I don't think it'd hurt Darby if that happened and he ended up losing. But do agree that it'll likely be a lot of cinematic type stuff involved.

I didn't realize Dax could go like that. That match with Jungle Boy was really good.

Also, Riho is coming back. Guess those Japanese travel restriction finally got loosened up. It'll be good to have her back but I hope they don't hot shot her back up to the top where she was when she left. They're just now finally starting to flesh out a women's division with Baker getting a lot better, bringing in Thunder Rosa and Serena Deeb, etc.

A much better show than last weeks, although that wasn't a high bar to overcome. The Dax-Jungle Boy match was definitely match of the night in my opinion. I'm wondering how long they'll do this Inner Circle storyline with MJF-Sammy until Sammy finally turns face? My guess right now is they'll pull the trigger on Sammy's face turn at Revolution. But I could also see them doing a match with Sammy vs MJF at Revolution where the loser has to leave the Inner Circle.
I think I read about Riho is that her Stardom commitments were done and they haven't been using her lately, so she was free to come back at any time. But they do need to find someone to finally be able to beat and take the belt off of Shida. There really hasn't been a lot of serious contenders for that belt for a while.

She'll have a good showing. I don't think she's quite ready for them to put the title on her yet though. Maybe towards the end of the year.

I also think Zelina Vega (Thea Trindad) has a good chance showing up in this tournament. Her 90 day non-compete expires just in time for her to show up in this.

It'll depend on the show and who is on it. I don't think the Kenta/Omega vs Mox/Archer match will do it. But if they ever get Okada or Ibushi over here, I bet it will

Definitely. It'll be quite a while before guys like Tanahashi, Okada, Naito, Ibushi, White or Suzuki will even think about coming over to the states.
