This makes me nervous because it reminds me of the waning days of WCW where they were overpaying aging stars to the detriment of the young guys (Radicles) and even paying wrestlers a lot (upper mid 6 figures) to stay at home (Lanny Puffo) and never wrestle or appear on TV for them. Not that the latter is happening here or that WWE doesn't pay guys who we rarely see. IMO opinion spending big isn't good unless you're spending it wisely and you have revenue streams coming in. But it's still early for this new company and only time will tell if they can avoid or more importantly IMO recognize and overcome mistakes quickly. We all know they're bound to make some mistakes but ID'ing and fixing them quickly is a big key to success.I don't disagree with any of this but it's still an indicator they're willing to spend big on this project.
