He’s already involved with Omega and the Elite. If they want to keep the belt on Omega longer, they could always have Hangman take the pin after Danielson does something inadvertent to him and turn heel and feud with Danielson, taking him temporarily out of the title picture. Can always use some excuse like “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.”
Then you can eventually move Hangman on to a feud with Punk and can have it based on Hangman’s alcoholic lifestyle vs Punk’s Straight Edge lifestyle.

I think they already did that by him taking time off for so long and having Omega feud with Christian instead. Maybe turning him and having him feud with veterans he can learn a lot from like Danielson, Punk and Christian can be the thing that eventually gets him to the next level.

I like Bobby Fish but no. They've got too many people as is. He's a really good midcard and tag wrestler but they have PLENTY of people there that can do that

They're not blowing it. Did you hear that Hangman pop tonight? He's over as fuck. They had to take time off since his baby was due. But story-wise, everything still works since he found a way to earn his shot. And it doesn't have to be at Full Gear either. With Danielson in the equation, you could give him a title shot and have Kenny win (if you look, Kenny really hasn't had many title defenses) while simultaneously running the story that Kenny and The Elite are ducking Hangman even though he has a shot. They keep looking for technicalities to get out of it, whatever. Then by the end of the year, you have the Hangman/Omega payoff.

Agreed but also for the reason because he’s been injury prone the past few years. I’m guessing he’ll be in a Serena Deeb type role in probably just working with the greener and younger talent to help them out. Or as one of those player/coach roles.
