Ovechkin ties Esposito for #6 and needs 15 goals to pass Dionne and join the Top 5. With 28 games to go, seems like there is a good chance we'll see that by year's end. He has an outside chance of catching Hull this season, but seems unlikely.

Honestly, that's awesome.

I no longer wonder if he has the ability to get Gretzky's record. It's purely health. If he stays healthy, he's going to get to 900 goals. Man it's been fucking awesome getting to watch this guy for almost two decades now.

I didn't know he had over 300 PP goals but he does have the most ever I thought.
Also another goal stat he is almost the all-time leader in is Game winning goals. He is now tied for second with Howe and needs 15 more to tie Jagr.

Another record to watch next season for Ovechkin will be all-time shots. He routinely puts 300+ on net in a year and he's currently just over 200 shots back.
