This is how most playoff games go. Pitching >>> offense in the playoffs.

yeah...if it's Verlander pitching...or Strasburg....etc...

Most of these teams can't hit anyone. It being the playoffs doesn't all of a sudden make every pitcher good. Can't blame weather either.

Yep not exactly expecting a ton of 8-6 type of games in the playoffs. The 4 games in the LCS is more what I expect from the playoffs

When Judge is on he looks like Babe Ruth, but when he is off he looks like an AL pitcher batting for the one time a season. There doesn't seem to be any in between with him.

Yeah he's far from the only guy looking lost

That at bat was just an example of the bad hitting tho. It goes well beyond "pitching beats hitting".

Not too uncommon. The Mick was a great HR hitter but struck out many many times.

Not like these pitchers tonight are bad either. Morton went 14-7 with an ERA of 3.62

FACK ME!!!!! i should NOT be surprised by the Little League mistakes continually being made when you Have a Little league Coach in ritarrdee at the HELM.... keep the same line up u moron cause its working out so well, judge may set a record of SO's in PS play, that most likely will never be broken.

Case in point

3 pitches right down the middle. Not even a swing

A mediocre pitcher will get yanked before he gives up too much damage in the playoffs. I wouldn't exactly call Charlie Morton mediocre though. His stuff is elite after the adjustments were made to his delivery. He just can't stay healthy.

Nobody is benching McCann, Gattis is a great bat, but he is not a good catcher. If anything Gattis needs to DH, he was killing it against Boston and then Beltran just took over for whatever reason.
McCann was benched
