Midges on trampolines.Joba probably still has nightmares about midges…..
I had to look. Dalbec 1-2 with the homer and a strikeout. If he had batted more than twice, he most definitely would have struck out more.I mean he most likely did what I said but I don't know that haha
Cashman always the master at drafting/developing relievers, but not exactly position players. And Betances!
That's probably the best draft of the Cashman era

Chamberlain and Betances were drafted as starters, but yeah, they mostly seem to end up in the pen eventually.
He seems to like to get his position players in IFA, but outside of Robbie Cano, that hasn't exactly gone terrifically either.

If nothing else, Phil Hughes does hold the record for single season K/BB (11.63 in 2014). 186/16 K/BB in 209.2 IP, gave up exactly as many home runs as he did walks.
In fact, he gave up more home runs than walks for the rest of his career (63 home runs to 52 walks in 300.2 IP). He had an 80 ERA+.
TINSTAPP!
But he was a crucial piece out of the pen in their last championship season. He just came in and let it fly.
When he had to pitch 5+ innings is when things got dicey.
