He would've caught that ball in the 7th if Gallo didn't run in front of him and drop it.

Boone should work on pop ups today.....when I coached little league we used tennis balls so the kids wouldn't get hurt and gained confidence....maybe Boone can send someone out to pick up a 4-pack.....

I thought tennis balls came in 3 packs, granted it's been a while since I played stick ball. Wine cooler come in 4 packs.........A friend told me

so who knocks us out Os or Nats?
Neither. The Yanks play the Jays and the A's have the Mariners so all the Sox have to do is win those series and they'll be in. I'd be shocked if the Sox weren't one of the wild cards.

The best thing the Red Sox have going for them now is they stopped wearing the soccer uniforms.
I liked that they didn't change out the yellow ones while they were on the winning streak. Baseball players are supposed to be superstitious. Choosing to wear them to begin with......

I know they are superstitious but could they have found a lucky charm that wasn't so ugly.

yanks win 2 of 3 vs toronto and don't get swept by tampa then i believe they would basically clinch a spot in the wildcard game unless the mariners go 6-0 this week

Red Sox might get knocked out by the Nats because both Schwarber and JD have to play the field and we all know how "awesome" they are at that

I am late, but I just got back now... WHY THE FUCK (didn't matter in end) but on Saturday did Cora pitch run with Vazquez after Plaweki got drilled by Chapman?

Freaking Dalbec HAS to catch two foul balls both on Saturday and Sunday night. WTF?!?!
Both teams were bad defensively. Gallo dropped one and so did Lemehieu. I don't watch the Sox day in and day out so I don't know if their D has been bad but the Yanks have been awful. Slightly better since moving Torres off SS which should have been done months ago and with Rizzo at first. And I don't even want to talk about Sanchez.

Yes thankfully the Yanks D gave the Red Sox a run but Dalbec not catching those two foul balls in both games royally fucked the Sawx.. Also the damn 3 hitter rule. Screw you Hernandez... Why wouldn't you think Stanton was sitting dead fucking red fast ball first pitch!??! Holy fucking impressive grand slam get the F out of here in a second shot by Stanton but wtf!

Yankees have been atrocious defensively and fundamentally all season.

Didn't realize what a mental burden it was for Torres, who's looking like his old self after moving back to 2B.

Why it took 5 months to make that move when everyone knew it was inevitable is another story.

Cashman hates to admit when he makes a mistake. We all said Torres wasn't a SS and he ignored it until last week. We all said we needed more lefties and he ignored it until the trade deadline. And even then he picked up Gallo, who strikes out 3 times a game and Rizzo who is a lefty that doesn't hit lefties. Granted, we need Rizzo's glove at first. And he still hung on to Sanchez who sucks behind the plate and is hitting 200.

And hired one of the worst in-game managers I've ever seen.
