No No is nice of course

I’m more focused on the fact that Kluber has looked like his CY Young version for a month now and seemingly getting better

that’s pretty awesome

I admit I was waaaaaayyyy off on Taillon, that guy has nothing but straight and eminently crushable
Kluber has really turned it around and definitely looks great. Early in the season he was walking everyone and that just isn’t him. This is a guy they need to be careful with, though. They don’t want to burn him out early and not have him in October. He’s barely pitched for years.

Goddamn. This will be 20 years ago in September. Where the hell does the time go? Also didn’t recall it was a 1-0 game and that David Cone pitched that game for the Sox and was almost as good:

This was awesome, Pedroia jumping around with his bald head at 25 like they won the World Series

they lost the game 3 pitches later

I think they have been, if he didn’t have the no no last night, he would have been done after 6 with like 70 pitches

Really weird. I was just talking to a buddy THIS WEEK about the last time the Yankees had a no-no and how they were overdue. I remember Wells and Cone and thought Jim Abbott also did it as a Yankee? I also remember Mussina had the perfect game in Fenway for 8 2/3 until Carl Everett broke it up.

Abbott did in on Labor day I wanna say 1991-the highlight of some dark years for the franchise.

Mussina's almost perfecto was the week before 9/11. Fucking Caveman Carl with the bloop to the opposite field to break it up. Never hated a former Yankee prospect more than that guy.

Still my number one concern, and I wonder what the plan is to keep him whole all season and beyond.

Hand of God Maradona? Probably a fan of the opposing team. (Don't remember who that goal was against).

Ever see his doc on HBO? Great

you may be talking about Escobar, the Colombian kid that scored an own goal in the World Cup and was subsequently murdered for it. Everyone assumed it was Pablo that had him killed, it turned out to be some other dudes

The bloom is coming off that rose a little bit. He was amazing in the post-season and to begin 2021, but he's hitting about a buck fifty over the last 3 weeks or so.

I'm almost ready to say the Rays are not gonna be that good this year. Almost, but not quite.
Rumors of Arozarena’s demise have been exaggerated. Good lord is he on fire now.
