Indeed. I can't say I really hate any of the Yankees players right now but I'm deep in Yankee territory. Other teams I hate losing to are the Habs/Pens, Cowboys (I'm an Eagles fan), and Ohio State in CFB (which is pretty much every year since 2001). I do geniunely hate the Rays.
How can you hate the RAYS?? They are like the little engine that could.

It is more cities for me. Any team from the Baltimore/DC area especially. Then add Philly, Boston and Chicago.

Wow. I had no idea. I don’t think I’ve ever heard you voice interest in any other sports before.

Cuz we post about baseball. LOL

I've been playing hockey since I was 4 years old, played all 4 years of high school (1 in the Bronx, 3 in New England) Also where I developed my deep and unwavering hatred of all things Islanders, who had just won 4 consecutive Stanley cups and it sounds funny now, but had quite the bandwagon following.

And Chap, I know I must've tormented you when the Giants were owning the Patriots in 2 superbowls. If not, you're one of the Pats fans I missed.

My bad.

:D

Grrrr!!! I’m shaking my fist at you right now!

I’ll never get over the amount of holding involved on that Tyree helmet catch. Total BS. After Buckner, that’s the worst sports memory for me.

Under the “this is how you know it’s still March” category, Bobby Dalbec leads MLB in homers(5), Runs(10) & RBI(12) right now.

Iconic moment.

IMO, Manningham's catch 4 years later was equally iconic, and just as Patriot-killing. Don't hear anywhere near as much about that one.

I'm thinking you can probably guess my worst sports memory. LOL

I tried to find the video of the opening face off fight. It still the first thing i think of if someone mentions the city of Greensboro.

Was a brutal league, and it was exactly what the fanbases in those southern cities wanted. Didn't have to know much about hockey to enjoy a brawl. And there were lots of them.

Yes it was. Having grown up playing the game it was as much fun to watch the crowd as it was to watch the game at times

He's this year's Jake Fox!

It’s funny. The Manningham catch doesn’t even register for me. That loss didn’t hurt like losing the perfect season. Different level entirely. Especially given the holding on that Tyree catch with the ref RIGHT THERE! Throw the damn flag!! Ugggh.

2004 has to be the worst for you. That was one for the ages(though Luis Gonzalez has to be close?). Altuve and Brosseau provided daggers, as well. But nothing compares to that 2004 drama.

I’m thinking he’s more of a Rob Deer.

I took my wife to Daytona in 2001 were she got to watch her favorite driver die. That is the only sports memory that ranks up there with 2004.

2004 is the worst, and it's not even close. Completely ripped my guts out.

#2 for me was another blown playoff lead-95 ALDS, up 2-0, lost 3 straight. It hurt more because it was their first post-season in 15 years, and it was Don Mattingly's swan song. Such a shitty, shitty ending to one of my all time favorite Yankees' careers.

#3 Believe it or not was 1980. Yankees won 103 games, looked like a powerhouse, had their favorite patsy the KC Royals in the ALCS, and got swept.

It was over before it even felt like it started. LOL

Was that Earnhardt? I live an hour from the Speedway, but I'm not a NASCAR guy.
