Yankees placed C Gary Sanchez on the 10-day disabled list with a right groin strain.

The injury helps explain Sanchez's perceived lack of hustle in Monday night's loss to the Rays. It's been a very disappointing 2018 campaign for the 25-year-old backstop, who's batting just .188 with a .283 on-base percentage and now figures to miss at least a couple more weeks of action. He's appeared in just three games this month because of right groin troubles. Austin Romine will fill in as the Yankees' primary catcher.

And getting either the best reliever available and building an impenetrable BP instead of getting a shitty starter is a better idea

And they are still getting that shitty starter, Chris Archer is next according to a lot of reports
