I thought they got him for the pen, because if nothing else, the guy throws gas. Everything I'm reading though is he's the remedy for the Sox rotation's over-lefthandedness.

Once the playoffs start do you see Evoldi as one of the starters or would they possibly move him to the pen like the Stros did with their 5th starter last year?

If there is truth to Chapman's knee being problematic this is probably an insurance thing for the Yanks. Plus their only lefty reliever outside of Chapman is not good
