Dude was not hustling until the last minute. Fuck this guy.

He needs to be on the bench tomorrow because of that.

If he's hustling out of the box then he is safe.

These baseball players so freaking lazy
don't forget the lackluster effort on the wild pitch in the 1st inning.

Rays did their best to give that game away. Why you don't just throw to first for the last out anyway is beyond me. Sanchez would have been out by a mile.

Michael Kay is one of the best in the game. The "See Ya!" home run call itself is worth tuning into Yankees games for (and I hate the Yankees). It's also refreshing to see that he's willing to call out obvious mistakes. Many broadcasters wouldn't even think about going there.

He's the Anti-John Sterling, who is embarrassing to listen to and just a clown. (No offense if you're a Sterling fan).

Speaking of Michael Kay:

He's right. Why would you buy a paper for Yankees coverage when they fired their beat writer and went to wire services?

Sanchez hits a rocket that was completely shift robbed of a clean game winning hit

But he will take all the blame while that POS batting before him is an embarrassment to the uniform

Why shouldn't Sanchez get blame? He allowed a runner to score from 2nd on a cross up and then doesn't give it his all down 1 run with the bases loaded with 2 outs in the 9th.

Hicks been bad as well but let's not forget Sanchez is a shitty catcher and is batting .188.....it is July 24th and he is batting .188

Let that sink in

He's got 2 years in and thinks he's Miggy Cabrera or Robbie Cano.

1st run scored because of his lack of hustle, Yanks fail to tie because of his lack of hustle.

He needs to grab some pine. I don't give a shit at this point.

The Trop is becoming the 2018 version of the King Dome from the old days.

And more importantly, Severino is not looking too ace like the last month or so.

I think the big point missing in this Sanchez kerfuffle is how did Greg Bird do?

I'm fine with it

Aaron Hicks lost them that game

Sanchez is in a hit or lose situation

Hicks could have done a lot of different things to tie that game

He's not an every day baseball player

Sanchez deserves his share of blame, although his lack of hustle is only highlighted because that idiot decided to go to 2nd on that play

I'm listening to the radio, not a word about the Hicks AB

To be fair to Hicks, he hit the ball damn hard. Just unfortunately was right at the 3B. I know you hate him but let's be fair to him

No he didn't

He was completely fooled on a breaking ball and reached out and punched it to 3rd

I'm ok with sitting Sanchez, but be prepared for an automatic out in Romine, you sit Hicks because there are better options than him
