Sandoval is more of a signing for 2026. He will miss at least half of this season and will be eased back in. I still think they add a guy like Flaherty because the current rotation looks pretty suspect.I don't hate the Sandoval signing for the Sox, but it just feels like it signals that's more or less it for the rotation. And doing so on a guy who may not pitch a whole lot this year isn't ideal.
Yeah, but his career OPS is .892
Only question is if Goldy can do it for a full season. He was so bad the 1H then pretty good overall the 2H. Give them that over 2/3 or 3/4 of the season…that is fine

A lot of potential but also a lot of risk of injury. Can’t be mad if you are a Boston fan, they desperately needed SP.Sox and yanks making moves while Baltimore scratching their balls
I was seeing rumors that the Sox were talking to San Diego about Dylan Cease. It would have cost us Casas, Abreu and Mayer. Steep. Probably mean that they overpay for Bregman, moved Devers to 1st and throw Anthony into a corner OF.Just now
His 2024 season worries me, but I like it as a 1 year gamble. Sox at least have a lot of depth now.
There is no way that the price for 1 year of Cease is Casas, Abreu and Mayer. That is absurd and you should disregard whatever source fed you that nonsense forever.I was seeing rumors that the Sox were talking to San Diego about Dylan Cease.
