I don't hate the Sandoval signing for the Sox, but it just feels like it signals that's more or less it for the rotation. And doing so on a guy who may not pitch a whole lot this year isn't ideal.

Sandoval is more of a signing for 2026. He will miss at least half of this season and will be eased back in. I still think they add a guy like Flaherty because the current rotation looks pretty suspect.

Then they can still add a bat like Teoscar or Santander to the mix. Bregman seems unlikely. An Arenado trade seems possible.

Can't say the Yankees haven't spent the money that Soto left behind. IMO they are a better team than they were at the end of the season
