Who’s the bat that you want? Infielder, I assume?
Yeah for sure. Outfield is set but they need a 3B since Chizzy is likely the everyday 2B

Go Red Sox.
Cano could have kept it, if Paul O'Neil let Clemens have 21.

How many should there be? 7 years is an eternity in baseball. I can’t imagine many teams have more than 3 players left from 2018.Not sure if this was done yet.... Here is the OP from 2018. How many players still on your team?
Red Sox only have Rafael Devers...
Good times.
Who is Torres replacement?
Move Jazz to 2nd
I think that was always the plan. Apparently the plan is also to let DJ, Cabrera and Peraza fight it out for 3B
Not too sure about that part of the plan![]()
Noooo…. He isn’t 100% worthless. He just doesn’t hit enough to be a full-time DH. Cora seems completely unwilling to let him play the outfield, though(I don’t remember him being horrendous out there when he did). How bad could he be in LF in Fenway anyway? If he wasn’t coming off surgery, it would probably be easier to trade him. His contract is bad, but there are many that are worse out there.Should Red Sox just cut Yoshida?

Should the Red Sox consider the nuclear option for $90 million dollar designated hitter? | Sporting News
The Red Sox may want to consider getting rid of their DH by any means necessary.www.sportingnews.com
@steveringo And now I see that the Dodgers have re-signed Teoscar for 3/$66m(with $23m of that deferred)! Where the F are the Sox on this deal? Their reluctance to spend any money is really concerning. He’s the piece they really could have used and those terms are so reasonable. Another lost opportunity. They should probably just give Teoscar the 3/$75m(or so) that it would take to get him signed. They dicked around with him last Winter and he ended up with the Dodgers instead. They really could use his bat in the lineup.
Hopefully he isn’t as lazy on defense as he was hereHappy with the Torres signing
Sigh... Hernandez did not like what Boston did to him last winter.@steveringo And now I see that the Dodgers have re-signed Teoscar for 3/$66m(with $23m of that deferred)! Burnes to Arizona

I thought he'd get more bank than that - especially after what Fried got...Burnes to Arizona
I’m not going to pretend that Teoscar was THE missing piece, or anything like that. But it was a short-term deal and very reasonable money and he was a perfect fit. Was this team REALLY willing to go to $700m for Soto? Or was that just for show to say “see! We can play with the big boy teams!” I have my doubts.Sigh... Hernandez did not like what Boston did to him last winter.
I'm probably the only one that still wants Devers at third.... as they'll pivot to Bregman or Arenado...
