That Yankees lineup really looks like Judge and Soto and pray for rain on a day like today. Who are they going to add to help the offense? Verdugo, Volpe, LeMahieu, Grisham & Torres all not hitting. Rice has come back to Earth, too. I know the plan is for Stanton to replace Grisham but what else will they do?
Shut up

I have to agree with him, the Yanks are the Judge/Soto show. Those two guys are great and are carrying the team, but I don’t think the Yankees can win the World Series this year because they are basically a 2 man show when it comes to hitting, none of the other guys hit consistently enough.
The Orioles probably have the deepest lineup in MLB, they are loaded, it’s why I think they will win the AL East and they are my pick to win the AL pennant.

I'm just messing with him. Been posting with @chappee11 for nearly 10 years now if not longer

Great way for the Orioles to come out of the break. Strong starts from Burnes and Rodriguez, good offensive showing up and down the order. Bullpen is getting work and effective.

Looking forward to seeing how our roster shapes up in the next 10 days.

man they really needed the AS break. Bats look lively. They could've had more runs tonight. too many guys left on base.

Judge and Soto did their job but per usual, a useless AB from GT.

Shallow fly ball and not deep enough to get Soto home

Now all up to the struggling Verdugo

LOL. I’m not even trolling here. I’m asking a legit question. The Yankees are definitely a playoff team. They have the 2 best hitters in the league. The pitching is generally pretty good. That lineup outside of the “2 Man Gang” is kinda dogshit, though. What’s the plan? Trading for Arenado and Pete Alonso would probably fix it.

I don’t know what they’re doing. I saw reports about them looking to get additional pitching which is silly. They need more bats. Guess we will see though

Not much hope on the current roster though outside of batting Stanton 4th when he returns and see how that goes

Gunnar > Soto.

Judge is on another level though.

They just need some folks who can get on base. But, many of the positions they could improve are taken by guys on long-term contracts, and they are on the downswing.

We’re at the point where what you see is what you’re getting for the most part, so Gleyber is the natural replacement especially since this is his last year under contract, which is where the Chisholm rumors have come into play.

Gunnar > Soto.

Judge is on another level though.
Both Gunnar and Soto are top players in the game, but if you are taking fielding out of it and talking purely hitting……many advanced metrics have Soto just above Gunnar.

It has been a long time since we’ve seen as advanced of a hitter as Soto, and he’s not even 26 yet.
