Yanks aren't winning shit. I'm not feeling great about this upcoming roadtrip in Baltimore and Texas this week. If we're lucky, we go 3-3. Sox go on a 10 game home stand vs Toronto, Tampa, and Oakland. They're winning the division

If the Yankees earn one of the two WCs (they should) and then win the WC game, they would most likely play the Indians. Who just not only swept the Yankees, the games were not even close. the Yanks are getting to the ALDS at most this year.

Headley had a .961 OPS against the Sox this year, and that doesn't include tonight's performance.

If the Yankees earn one of the two WCs (they should) and then win the WC game, they would most likely play the Indians. Who just not only swept the Yankees, the games were not even close. the Yanks are getting to the ALDS at most this year.

Indians are red hot at the moment. I wouldn't read much into that series for 3 reasons.

1) We just split with them in Cleveland a few weeks ago.

2) Look at the starters we had going in that series. Only one of those guys would actually start in the playoffs. Garcia and Montgomery are not starting in the playoffs.

3) The only game with a pitcher who would start in the playoffs vs Cleveland was tied at 2 heading to the 7th with their ace on the mound.

With the way Tanaka and Gray is looking, I really like the Yanks rotation in a possible playoffs series. Gray barely get any run support but Friday night was the first time he allowed more than 2 ER since coming to the Yankees.
