I know he wants back, he is an old school ball guy and he's going to stay as long as he can. Plus he's got friends that he's known 20, 30 or (In Rick Anderson's case) 40 years on his staff and he wants to keep their jobs.

I just don't see Detroit turning it around enough with him being a lame duck next year. I'd say let him go and move on.

Having seen the replay of the injury, it's fortunate it's only a sprained knee. With how much pain he was in, you had to be thinking a busted knee or torn ligament. Hopefully he gets better soon.

Apparently the report I saw on MLB.com last night was wrong. Torn ACL for Naquin. That's tough because he'll probably be out almost all of next season too.
