Indians needed to take the lead in the division or be right on the Twins ass to be serious about contending for the division title in September. Twinkies schedule was extremely soft while Tribe had some tough games. Not very surprising that the Twins pulled away.

Only possible way Indians can think about winning the division is they enter the series with Minny 4 or 5 games back at most and sweep that series. Otherwise it is over.

It ain’t done yet. We got a tough 12 game stretch coming up. If we split 3-3 with Cleveland that will put them in trouble with our soft schedule to close out after these 12 games.

Even with how good we are on the road, there is a great chance Boston sweeps us. We are throwing Dobnak(???), Berrios(he’s been brutal) and Perez(he’s sucked his entire career).

Not ideal there.

Can't beat the good teams...injuries isn't helping but really not surprise, it happens every year. If they do make the playoffs, not holding my breath, but I would much rather face the Yanks than Astros so hoping if the Indians can somehow get in the playoffs the Yanks wrap up the best record. Again, the odds of beating either team especially when not healthy are slim regardless.

Have to sweep the White Sox, I mean I would take 3 out of 4 honestly. Twins is gonna be tough the way they are playing.

Not too bad of a schedule other than Nationals and Twins. 12 against the Sox, Tigers and Angels is nice.

Looks like the other two teams fighting for a WC are Rays and A's...Red Sox if they somehow make a legendary comeback push lol.

Rays and A's have a pretty easy schedule so the Indians will have to probably win every game they can against inferior competition and Try to win a couple of these tough series as well.

Red Sox look to have a tough schedule 16 out of 24 being against teams in the playoffs or fighting for playoff position. 5.5 out of the WC plus that schedule, along with weak schedule by the Rays and A's would be legendary if they made a comeback.

But also per you, Indians have so many injuries and the Twins should win the division.

So which is it. Are the twins the underdogs blowing past the competition that should be appreciated

Or are we the team that lost an 11.5 game lead to a team with all the injuries.

Can’t have it both ways. Btw Twins have had more injuries.
