As for Porcello....I did NOT wanted him traded before the season....I DID want to use him as trade bait at the deadline....if he had value. Well, his value is not high...but the Tigers do not have a lot of highly rated prospects to use in trade. If Porcello can bring a real good relief pitcher and maybe a decent backup middle infielder (better than Santiago or Perez)....trade him.

As for trading Garcia for relief help....good idea. But I wonder if Tiger fans are over-rating his potential as well. I see him as 4th OF-platoon guy, at best.
