of course the four teams with 30 wins right now are the Phillies, Dodgers, Yankees.....and.....Guardians? lol....wtf....does not make sense

no Bieber. Williams has not thrown a pitch-- your best 2 starters have thrown a combined 2 games. It does not make a lot of sense.

Twins will get it together though.

Lewis is back soon. I think Rodriguez is one of the best hitters in the minors- and he should be up soon. Brooks Lee might be up soon too - I think he is hurt now- getting rid of some of the weaker bats.

Twins have hitting and a lot more coming.....Guardians do not have much depth---- Kwan and Williams should be back soon which will be big--- but DeLatuer broke his foot again and likely will not see the majors this year.

If the Guardians are going to compete through the whole year I think they will have to make a trade for a bat and a SP at some point--- if Williams and McKenzie get and stay healthy maybe they will not need the SP- but they prob need a bat. Maybe Brennan, Freeman and Manzardo step up.

Brennan and Freeman looked good in this series though I have to say. Gimenez has looked pretty good.

Bullpen is def. the strength of this team. It is deep and really good.

It is beyond obvious- but the Twins really need Lewis to get healthy and stay healthy. Rodriguez could be quite a weapon too.

I think eventually they will fall but we will see. They have an "easier" schedule the next couple weeks.

There’s not a ton of teams with records over .500 to begin with. Only 13 of 30 teams are over .500. It’s 8 AL teams and 5 NL teams.

They really do. Too many pieces of small market garbage plus the Mets.
yah i saw something where the Phillies have played barely any games against teams with winning records--- which obv. isnt their fault- but the NL is pretty bad except at the top

Royals are really playing good ball. They made a lot of good moves in the offseason and Witt looks like an absolute star.

Bodes well for Philly. No problem for us fans if they win it all. A title is a title
This stuff works itself out over 162 games too. From where I sit, I used to watch the Phils play .550 ball or .600 ball against bad and mediocre teams. Now they’re playing .700/.750 ball vs teams that profile.

who had Seth Lugo and Ben Lively leading the rotations of the 2 best teams in the Central about 50 games in? lol
Lugo certainly had a mark of someone who could grift off of Kaufman's dimensions and an elite defense. Zero chance he sustains a sub 2 ERA, but an innings eater with mitigated weaknesses (Kauffman/Defense) and a FIP well into the 3's will be more than adequate.

At some point the Royals are going to need to make an internal decision to make regarding their outfield. They've been winning despite pretty unplayable outfield play from Melendez and Renfroe. Additionally Isbel is a pretty classic 4th outfielder and defensive replacement if we're keeping it a buck; Velasquez will need to pick it up soon as he is realistically a DH only type player. Even 1 WAR type options in Drew Waters or throwing a dart at Loftin.
