Through 5 innings against Giolito the twins have 0 runs and 10 base runners.

His pitches by inning are 19, 18, 23, 20, 21. 101 pitches in 5 innings and we scored zero goddamn runs.

Fat fuck 3B coach killed a big inning having Kepler get thrown out at home with 1 out. Solano pile of shit ass is inexplicably batting clean up.

This is why this team cant get seperation in this trash division. Beat themselves all the time.

To piggy back off this. Due to the oppenents. If after the next 3 games we only lose 1 game in the standings to Cleveland I will take it.

If somehow we push or better that will be a massive swing for the division.

Vazquez has played more this year and since All Star break its still just a literal 50/50 split.

Absolute insanity. If the Twins simply played their best players they would be up 7 games minimum right now.

Much respect for your team. I was irate with the Phillies playing bad baseball but I have to give the Guardians credit for playing good baseball. Those guys all embrace their roles and perform to the best of their ability inside that dynamic. Wish the Phillies had some of that attitude to go with their payroll.

Don't get to watch many games out here. Pretty much only when MLB network offers a free preview.

But I did find something interesting out. Don't remember all the numbers but since July 1st the Guardians are in the top 5 of multiple offensive categories in the AL. Just wish they had more HR power. They don't have much.

Gotta say- I am glad the Twins have os much money tied up in Correa, Buxton and Vazquez. 32, 15, and 10 respectively.

Twins SP is pretty cheap too.

Maeda: 3M

Gray is a free agent this winter though. Polanco is at 11M next year. Lopez at only 8M next year, but then goes up to 22 the following 3 years.

Twins do spend some money- obviously not a huge spender- but they do spend.

I wonder if they bring back Gray.

Maeda, Gallo and Kepler will almost assuredly be gone.- that's like 25M or so off the books.

Next year for the Guards the big payroll iimpacts are:

1. Josh Bell has a 16M player option.
2. Bieber is in his final Arb year (1 more year of control)
3. Naylor is a "super 2" and has next year and the following for arb. (2 more years of control)
4. Quintrell same as Naylor (2 more years of control)
5. Civale arb. 2 (2 more years on control)
6. McKenzie Arb 1

Ramirez: 17M (how he is only half of Correa is unreal)
Gimenez: 5M
Straw: 5M
Clase: 3M
Stephen: 2M

I hope they extend Naylor and look into a McKenzie extension. I wouldnt mind a reasonable Civale extension.

Who knows what happens with Bieber- prob. a trade.
