AJ Smith to the Redskins; great move

He's not the GM, but he'll work in the front office. I would've loved it if the Niners brought him in at the same capacity.

I don't get this. He found Vincent Jackson in the 3rd round. He found Marcus McNeil in the 3rd round. He found Sproles in the 4th, and he found Michael Turner as an UDFA. He found Shaun Phillips in the 4th round. They were screwed by the ref's in the 2007 AFC Championship game or else they might have won a superbowl.

I'm not saying the guy's Ozzie Newsome, but he did one of the better jobs in the NFL at his position. And he isn't even going to be the GM.

Smith is one of the most polarizing personnel people in the game today in my opinion. Very little middle ground on him when it comes to the people who have a stage to voice their opinion on. More often than not that's the incorrect way to look at somebody but it feels like that's the case with Smith.
